The
Tumbling Blocks Loom

I'd like to
introduce you to the newest member of our loom family. Meet the
Tumbling Blocks loom. This loom will let you weave that old favorite
quilt pattern, the Tumbling Blocks. This pattern is also called Baby
Blocks and will make a darling blanket to welcome a newborn into the
world.

Of course, it's
not limited to baby blankets. I have been enjoying these looms and have
made a vest, a lap blanket, a pot holder, a set of coasters, two purses
and am working on a cardigan for myself. I've also sketched out several
more ideas for using these looms and I'm sure you are going to create
even more.

The new loom
comes in the 3.5" and 7" size and comes with the weaving hook, packing
fork, and instruction booklet, as do all of our looms. Randy makes
these looms with beautiful woods, smoothly finished to make them
comfortable and enjoyable to work with. |
The
Multi-Loom

We've got
something NEW! The Multi-Loom is the perfect loom for all your
favorite finer yarns! The sett is 1/8th inch, half the sett of our
regular looms. And it's called the Multi-Loom because there are at
least three different ways to weave on it.
New
Hats
& Bags book

Also finally
ready for your enjoyment is the book Hats & Bags. A collection
of felted and non-felted hats and bags woven on Hazel Rose looms.
There are 8 hats and 6 bags: three smaller purses, one larger, a work
bag and a large carry project bag. I have used the Quilt Weaver and
Tiny Weaver set, the 12 & 14" squares, and the 14" triangle in
these projects. However, they could be made using other sizes of looms,
keeping in mind that you can make a square with two triangles and that
four 7" squares will assemble into nearly the same size as a 14" square
loom will weave.
In the book are also instructions for making a little pin loom for
weaving straps as well as a bit on color weaving and how to line your
purse. The projects range from very simple to mighty complex, for those
who like a challenge!
I had great fun designing these projects and I hope you will enjoy
making your version of them. Remember, I am nearly always available to
