My First Crop!
FirstCrop2 (209k image)

Lookee, lookee! Peaches! My baby tree set it's first crop of peaches! How cool is that?! I don't know if they'll ripen at this early age or not, but I'm going to leave them there. The yard is really blooming these warm days. The nights are still coolish but the days have been nearly hot! I have roses, peonys, columbine, the Forget-me-nots are blooming as well as iris, buttercups, the oriental poppies and gobs of others. And it's so green! We put the garden in the last few days, there's space to add more as we go but it's a start.
Oh yes... the birds have flown. Kept the cats in for the last two days but there was no sign of the babies yesterday, & the parents have quit making their encouraging noises, so I let them out this morning. Robin was at the window yesterday yelling "oooout nooowooo!" lol
And Randy has the new shed in place and the dirt from the building site hauled off and the temp woodshed torn down, and we are starting to fill in the mosquito breeding ground... so we are making progress here!
More looms to ship on Tuesday and I am even getting the weaving done for a summer top. I bought the cotton at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival.
Hope you are having a warm and Safe holiday! smile
