A winner in the family!
ShanerunningMay2008 (209k image)

My just about to turn 13 grandson, Shane winning the track race. It was his first attempt at sports and he did us up proudly! He did not inherit his athletic abilities from his gramma! big grin Way to go, Shane!

It's finally warm here in the north west! Beautiful! I love it! Spent the day doing what is pretty much spring cleaning... digging out from under all the stuff that has accumulated in the studio over the winter. Still have a way to go, but it's thinning! My next project is to hang all my looms artistically on the wall. They'll look nice and I'll be able to find the one I need at a moments notice.

Spring veggie... or is it fruit?
rhubarb (184k image)

The rhubarb is fat and juicy again! Cousin Dan loves my rhubarb pie and they arrived just now, in time for dinner, so he'd getting a pie.
It's been sunny and nearly warm today, a lovely Mother's Day. Daughter Called this morning when I was outside and she was missing when I called her this evening. But we left loving messages to each other! big grin

The lilacs are blooming today, too and perfuming the air. Hope your day was beautiful!
