06/02/2009: "Fleur"

Good thing I brought these in yesterday, The thunder storms we had today and this evening have the rest of them with their pretty pink faces in the mud. The hail didn't do them any good, either. On the other hand all the rain probably saved us from a lot of lightening fires. I'm told Southern Trinity reported 85 or so from yesterday's storms. I hope some of this rain got down to them. It's still sprinkling out there but I haven't head any rumbling for awhile. It's gotten cold, tho. From days in the lower 90's we're now 52! Chilly! But Thank you, Mother Nature... we needed the rain.
